This website, as well as many of the websites you may be directed to, may suggest installing software, removing software or editing of the Windows registry.  You should backup up your Computer before making any changes. At a minimum, you should create a restore point or backup your registry. Failure to do so, could cause your PC not to function or could cause loss of data.  If you have a DVD burner or an external USB drive, back up your data. Take notes and keep track of what changes you have made to your computer settings. If something goes wrong, it will be easier to put things back the way they were if you took good notes. Good luck.

If you have a technical question that may interest others, feel free to post it in my forum. A couple other forums that may interest you are, Computing.net or techguy.org.  You can also e-mail us at Technical Support.

How to use this site

On most of these pages, there are suggested links located on the right. On this page, there is a link Antivirus/Antispyware . It has a detailed list of steps for you to follow to remove viruses and spyware. On the right of that page are suggested links that will also aid you in the removal of the Malware.

Also on this page, is a link Computer Maintenance. It has a list of suggested PC maintenance that is to be performed daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.

There are some links that you can use to review your next hardware purchase. Find the top 10 Value Business Desktops, external hard drives or inkjet printers.

If you have any questions or comments, or you find a broken link, feel free to e-mail me at webmaster@jdsteel-DiscountComputerServices.com. I hope you find this site useful.
